Working Principle of Round Plate Filter Press:

Filter chambers of ceramic filter press formed between pressed filter plates when the pressing device drives the pressing plate.

Feeding pump squeezes material through the pore from thrust plate into the filter chambers, solid particles are intercept in the filter chambers forming cake, while liquid was discharged out of the machine through cake and filter cloth.

Main components of filter press:

> Frame: The steel frame acts as a clamping device for the filter plates.

> Filter Plates: A filter cake forms in the chambers between filter plates.

> Filter Cloth: A cloth filter that is attached to both sides of a filter plate. Solids build up on cloth to form a filter cake, separating liquids from solids.
